somewhat bummed out. somewhat disoriented. not really keeping track of what's going on in my life. today, i finally threw out the moldy stuff that was hindering the population of my fridge. then, i ran the dishwasher for the first time in months. miles picked me up and we traveled to ellijay (sp), where we listened to bluegrass music. can't say i entirely enjoyed the music or the experience, but it was an experience, and i got a little insight into the north georgian mindset. actually, i didn't get any insight at all, since i wonder why people can get up on a stage and sing war-inspired music to "support our troops" but never bother to question why they're being forced to fight and die in the first place. in any case, the musicians were brilliant, and i enjoyed the banjo player the best. well, the ennui sets in as the evening ends up tiring me out. somewhat hungry, but too determined not to drive to do anything about it. arg.
