a summary of the events of the evening follow. my personal evening began at approximately 5:05 pm, when it came from the mountain springs to me, "33". after two of these mixed in with a heavy hit o' the bowl, miles drove by and took me to farmer's market. after destroy the robots there, and procuring some delicious cookie, we left and attempted to cook an entire chicken. mallrats was watched, and sam showed up to whisk me away to better entertainment. filling his flask with vanilla vodka, and filling my lungs with more substance, we headed off to mjq circa 10:45 pm. the result of this exploratory phase was a $15 newcastle (cover + beer). not many people at mjq? why not!? in any case, we left dejected and tried to find a place called "The Church" since sam was interesting in seeing if they had a party going on. we found it, but it was ominously deserted and empty. we continued forward, and eventually all roads lead to lenny's. my mind gets fuzzy after that, but i do recall saneesh showed up with amelia and thomas. thomas' first words were "i'm tired" and i think his only words throughout the entire evening. the man went outside to sleep. i drifted around the bar, talking to random women and actually got one to talk to me for a moderate amount of time. however, she became dodgy by the end of the evening, so alas, i have yet to obtain a number in about three months. amelia was sufficiently trashed, and we found ourselves headed to majestic to cap off the evening. because all roads eventually lead to majestic. arriving at approximately 2:14 am, we sat down at a table. now, thomas had woken up, and said "i'm tired" as he sat down. almost immediately, sam, saneesh, and i threw down dollars and told thomas his meal would be paid for if he chugged the maple syrup on the table. excited by his acceptance, i yelled out "go, go, go, GO, GO! yes, yes, yes, YES, YES!" as thomas drank down half a bottle of maple syrup. the hipsters of the night were completely horrified at our dionysian display of unusual beverage consumption in a public place, but they do not matter. it was well worth a dollar to give a buddy of mine early onset of diabetes. i don't remember coming home all too well, but i've become awake just now, living to tell the tale.
