alright. basically, here's what went down. i get this phone call about two hours ago. it's my friend omelia. she wants to give the hockey chicken trapped by adult swim on williams street a 40. so naturally, i embark on this mission to provide the captive chicken with its booze. trepassing on private property? yes! these are a few of my favorite things.

so, it's been an interesting first week at work. i learn this "magic" fast as i can, and it's all good. all i needed to do was pound into the familiar form of ml meets smalltalk. in any case, i'm a badass for being able to throw things together after having a lapse in programming for over a year.

this week has been awesome, and it's not over yet.

my first day of work was awesome.

the celebration kicked off at el myr after work. followed by a stoned viewing of jason and the argonauts. about half--way through. then, lenny's with free pool (i kicked some serious ass at pool tonight...) and now, gentle sleep...

ah, sleep...how you beckon to me...

i gotta get up for work tomorrow.

it was an interesting night - i played hold 'em poker and lost $2. sam and i went down to the trackside and enjoyed the amenities this bar had to offer until 4 in the morning. a good time always ends up at majestic. also, i'm home now without having to drive in this state. that would prove disasterous.

ah, amazing. i have work now with the old people device company. they won't drug test and let me come to work in jeans and a t-shirt. the relaxing atmosphere is key - as is the inapplicable, proprietary functional language called magic. the idea is that two years from now, i'll be well prepared for grad school since i'll have done absolutely nothing of practical...
