I know my parents taught us to always share but I don't think they also meant things like colds and flu (thanks DAD!!) yup - thats right....my pop decided that it wasn't fair that he was the only one in the family that was sick so he shared his nasty cold with me
So I just got finished a 2 day run as one of 2 adjuticators for the "Rising Stars" dance competition in Edmonton, AB. By the end of the night last night I already had the rep of "The Mean One" I'll be the first to admit.....when I use to compete I HATED judges like me but I learned from the comments... Read More

Gleh. I wish I was having a happy day. I'm sure it will be better when Karen gets back into town and I have someone to talk with. Had a whole bunch of stuff written here but deleted it because it just is a rant.
Well, I hope you're doing okay and being left out of the drama.
good for you, been there done that, was a member of an Engine Co., but lived closest to a Hook, and Ladder Co., so I rode with them at night, lots of fun, and an adreniline rush-still in Canada, eh? [catching up here]-
Go Army
There are 2 people in my life that I care very much about.......but I have somehow been dragged into the middle of their dramas and now I'm extremely PISSED OFF!!!

I hope everything works out with you and your sister. Siblings can be pains. I am dealing with a lot of drama with my brother right now.
Hang in there.
I never thought I'd say this but I LOVE TAX SEASON!!!!
My tax stuff has been all over the board in the last 4 years (like having to pay $800 2 years ago and getting back $54 last year). Well I don't know if it is the fact that I was promoted last year or what but this year the Gov't... Read More

Sounds like you had fun, it's nice that you had so many people show up for a proper send off. Whatever you end up doing, I'm sure you'll do it well. Coast Guard is a really good idea, even if you just go in as a reservist (but I hope you've got some sea legs). If not, you'd better make sure you go on The Pirates of the Caribbean ride several times (and Splash Mountain too). Yes, you will get wet. Maybe you'll make your way out to say hi to us all too. It would be nice to see you again. I'm sure you and Pete will want to spend as much "quality time" together as you can though . (But if you end up kidnapping me again, I'm getting my own room this time).
In other "news"... Well, what can I say? I tried but I should have listened to you in the first place. I'm not as upset as I thought, a little annoyed, but it's alright. Oil and water just don't mix. I hope for the best, no matter the circumstances. I've got some good memories and that's all that matters. Take care sis, (suddenly that doesn't feel weird to say anymore).
Thank you for the birthday cake! It was yummy and very special to me.
Holy hannah! The gifts sound amazing. What an absolute treat for you to have to remember the good people and good times by. Heck, maybe they'll even name a maneuver after you.
Sweetie, I'm not questioning your motives. I'm just worried about a few things. If you enlist in the Navy I'm afraid they'll send you to hell and gone, and you and Pete will never get to spend time together. I wouldn't say I don't trust the Navy...it's just that I don't trust the upper echelons of the Navy to give a chipmunks rear about anyone below, say captain, or their personal lives. I'm afraid that they will cut orders to send you guys, at the best, to different sides of the US, and worst to different corners of the world. Especially with Bush in charge (at least on paper). I'm just wondering if there is other things you might be able to do...like join a dance troop, or be a civilian medic, etc.
Remember, it's the job of your older brother to make sure you're doing the right thing for you.
I just wanna appologize right now if I have not responded you in the last few days My world is being turned up side down and inside out with getting ready to leave on Friday. I have had to do so much in the last week that I can't remember if I am... Read More
