Story of the day..........
O.K. - I know that my journal updating hasn't been very good lately, but I am entering a busy time of the year. The air show is coming up on my base, I am in the middle of classes, staff are getting posted out and in all summer, and I am being tasked out like crazy!
Hell....even as I write this, I am sitting here in my combast cause I just got home from work.
Today my SGT came in and put his arm around me (first sign of trouble) and said "I have great news!" "Dare I ask?" I answered back to him. "You can now tell everyone that you have plans for the weekend with a whole bunch of guys!" This sounded too good to be true of course so I asked him what the catch was............"Well - I may have forgotten to mention that all of these males are under the age of 12". Yes - it is true.....I get to spend my weekend providing medical coverage for the boy scouts
That isn't the real kicker - it was either THAT, or working crash response for weekend flying.
So there I found myself at work.....learning how to remove ticks from pig skin to prepare for the weekend. How did I get such a fantastic life
HA HA HA - I don't mind really because be it boy scouts or pilots...they are all on the same mentality level
Anyways, I have to study for "school" tomorrow. I wish I still lived with my mommy so that she could pack my lunch
I don't think that my "sponge bob" lunch box would be appreciated in my "Advanced Trauma Life Support" class
