O.K - Hey Everyone!! I am officially back from Christmas break.
Was Santa good to you all???? Or did you get lumps of coal in your stockings???
After a much needed break from work, this is pretty much how the holidays broke down for me:
First off - I left for home right after work on Friday at 6pm, and didn't make it into Red Deer until 1:30am. Thanks to oracle for talking to me the whole way home and keeping me awake because there were a few times where I was thinking about dosing off
The day after I got home was a sad day spent at a memorial service for my uncle who had just lost the battle with cancer. May he rest in peace.
About 4 days after I got home, some punk kids decided to break into my car in broad day light making off with about $100 worth of stuff. Man I would hate to see what those kids would have looked like if I caught them.
Christmas itself was pretty good, and Santa spoiled me this year so that was a nice suprise. But then 3 days later while I was attempting to jog off those extra Christmas pounds, I slipped on the ice, and in a desperate attempt to stay on my feet, I fell and strained a ligiment in my knee. Some would think that this has slowed me down, but I am not going to let a silly thing like this hold me back. For the most part, I have been shoving my crutches in my car or leaving them in the house and just hobbling around without them.
Anyways, that was my holidays in a nutshell. How were yours??? I would love to hear any other interesting stories that have come about from your Christmas break
Well that is it for my journal 2004 - See you all in the new year
Kisses

I know what you mean. Staying friends after a breakup is one tough move.
