Story of the day..................(well night actually).............
OK - I know that I don't update near as much as I use to but since I can't sleep, I thought I'd come hang out here
Pete and I decided at the last minute to take his mom and stepmom to see Corteo on Thursday night and I am sooooooo glad that we decided to tag along and see it for the second time
It was like watching a totally different show
I would recommend that if it ever comes to an area near you that you go see it!!!
Yesterday Pete took me to go talk to the Coast Guard Recruiter and got some rather sad news
According to the lady we talked to, I am not eligable to join because I am foreign military We are not however ready to accept that answer since the website states right in the joining requirements that foreign military is allowed to join as long as they have a valid work visa
Still some research to look into but it is starting to look more and more like I will be joining the Navy if I choose to stay military.
Pete also informed me yesterday that I may FINALLY get to go home in a couple of weeks!!!!!!! I have been really home sick since I left Canada in July and this trip is needed. Not only will I get to see family and friends, I will also be able to renew my drivers license so I can drive again!!!!! I also need to do my taxes and if time permits, I am going to take a few dance classes before the "So You Think You Can Dance" audition March 6th
Other than that, nothing really new to report
