AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Congratulations sweetie! Ah, I'm so proud of you to go out there and kick some ass, especially after being out of competition for so long. I'll bet this is so exciting for you. I have such a huge smile plastered on my face, an I've called Karen to let her know. I just knew you'd do great.

I'm starting to sleep better, the dreams aren't as bad as they have been. As for the potential job...well, I don't blame them for wanting lots of references so they don't end up with a loser in their midst. I do however fully blame my last employer for being such jerks. Karen's exceedingly pissed about it. She's meeting with her boss today to tell her all the hell she went through last week and is including their wishy-washy reference policy that has pretty much cost me a dream job. On the up side, if Karen were looking for a job I've found several lead biostatistician positions for her. Oh well, patience.

So far everyone has loved the idea of bringing you in as a peacekeeper for taking care of woodpeckers. I have an idea for the latest in state of the art woodpecker deterrant system: marshmallow guns.
