Story of the day..................

What a weekend! eeek Yesterday all the ladies from work took me to the spa for a bridal shower girly day and I had a blast!!!biggrin It all started with a full body massage followed by manicure, pedicure and facial (all the while sipping on some lovely Italian white winetongue) Then it off to supper last night where everyone proceeded to buy me every drink on the menu eeek The staff came out to sing Happy Birthday which embarassed the hell out of me and everyone laughed their asses off when I was pretending to look around for this mysterious "Birthday Girl"biggrin Speeches were made, gifts were given and of course little ol' me cried whatever I don't know what it is but I cry at the drop of a hat these days - and not just at bad things - guess my hormones are starting to get the best of me blush

Best of all, poor piratepete had to endure a drunken phone call when I got home. Actually I wasn't really drunk - just really happy I guesswink

It was the best day I ever had in the 2 and a half years of living herebiggrin

I'm not sure about 30... But I can tell you that at 29, life suddenly seems like it's stuck on fast forward. There never seems to be enough time for anything, you blink and a week has gone by... I can't imagine what it must be like for someone our parent's age... eeek Better enjoy these younger years while they last.
