Story of the day.................
Once again I must give myself a slap on the hand for not updating very often
Tis the season for the Influenza Vaccine to be administered
I have been trying to track down the 400 soldiers on my base to rally a "needle parade" and make sure everyone is safe from the nasty bug but it hasn't been an easy task and I am at the point of saying "If they really don't wanna get sick they'll come to me to get it"
New things develop all the time and this whole Coast Guard decision I made (see last journal) has been supprisingly positive for me
99% of the people I tell have been rather supportive in my decision and only that 1% think I am out of my mind 
Things continue to sit in the unknown with the possibility of a deployment but my chain of command continues to push my readiness paperwork through "just incase". It seems that the Medics over in Kandahar right now are being overworked and we may need to go in to back fill so that they may take some time off. If they say I am going I have no problem with that. It would just be nice to know if its a YES or NO
In other news - my dance teacher informed me tonight in class that she is putting me in a dance competition in North Dakota March 18th I don't know if this is such a good idea or not since the last time I did any competitions was about 8 years ago (maybe even longer) In anycase - we will see how things pan out in this department
Thats all I have to report for now because after sitting in the splits for 3 minutes in tonights class, I need a hot bath. I'M GETTING TOO OLD FOR THIS!!!
