This is just so sad. They deserved to grow old, to enjoy being the elder statesmen of the beautiful mayhem they gave birth to. Nobody else can fill that position, it's theirs forever. Anyhow, I've decided to make the car a tribute to the ramones, On the lid for the battery (in the trunk) I'm going to put their presidential seal along with "thank you Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee." Maybe I'll put a little sticker on the bumper or something. If personalized plates weren't so altogether lame "CRETIN" would finish off the theme well. Heck, I Might even give that some thought. It's hard to imagine how my whole life perspective would be different if they hadn't gotten together and started this whole rock&roll rollercoaster. I'm sure they could have given a shit about changing the world, but they sure as hell did - at least for one angry 15 year old kid in rural Ohio. Oh well. Thanks for the wonderful memories. Take care kids. But stay away from the glue, alright?
