I'm sorry I know Scott Pilgrim is aimed towards a certain audience. BUT fucking 5th place opening weekend. That movie was so good it put me in the very best mood after leaving the theater. It makes me wonder realllllly wonder if my films will even stand a chance.
Oh yea I'm sick of double standers. maybe this is a wrong example. BUT I hate when I'll say darn I had kind of a rough day........ *crickets chirping* Then some random female "I had a bad day"...... thousands of people OMFG your way toooo amazing to have a bad day what the fuck happened? what can I do to help? Things will be better ZOMG I cant believe a girl had a bad day sound the fucking alarms. I am in no way saying I want pity or people to feel bad for me or fall at my feet. I just think its a fucking travesty you have to have tits to get any sort of compassion.

I doubt you're alone at all. That whole having any kind of sensitivity (in men) is a sign of weakness and a turn off to most females. It's lose/ lose as far as I can tell. The only logical thing is to have a beer and a blunt.
