My only work-involved hiccup on my vacation happens today... I was volunteered by my group home manager to be our liason to our agency's new founded Nutrition Committee. The last meeting was held around Thanksgiving, skipped over December entirely & lands on today. I'd fake my own death or pretend I was vacationing in VT, MA or NY but that leads us to hiccup pt. 2.
My agency's Xmas party is tonight. Yes, it's no longer Xmas...they heard. Our original party was to be held in December but, it got snowed out in a big way! I recently got a number of verbal & written jobs praises & citations from my higher-ups and it would be bad form not to shake a couple hands plus...open bar!
Aside from that, my vacay has been pretty good! I still have don't have to report back until next Wednesday. I've assisted in polishing off a case of Newcastle, re-painted my toenails, bought Once Upon A Time In Mexico and put up an apartment's worth of new mini-blinds & a programmable thermostat, as well. I still haven't caught Big Fish...I'm hopin' Monday!
