So, Xmas came and went...quickly enough for my tastes. No real family drama or debacles aside from the usual. I worked a 13 hour day which aided in not having to see more obnoxious relatives and maximizing in holiday pay.
This year my kid brother, known as 'Boy' within the family, is on the outer cusp of Santa/No Santa insights. I'd give it to him but, he's not quite tricksy enough to pull anything off for my parents' sake quite yet...maybe next year. It's also curious to observe for he's the alpha male of his 7th grade. My sister and I were rather bookish children whereas Boy has his own harem and is receiving steady holiday tributes...odd to say the very least.
So, how was your Xmas & how will your Boxing Day be? Were your lil' wooden shoes filled to the brim?

xmas was downright pleasant - a shocking turn of events. seeing family also merits holiday pay, but yay to you for managing to to avoid the former whilst maximizing the latter.
