Okay...I've taken several deep breaths. Let out frustrated resignation, inhaled...something else, cold winter air..? Both my Princess and I were able to attend the second apartment viewing this morn. She was able to put physical walls on the floorplan I drew with what AD&D DM'ing skill I had left over from middle and high school. "Is that a hidden wall?" 
We turned in all of our application stuff & got the word a lil' while ago that we'll have keys for our 1 1/2 bedroom on the 30th. *insert beaming here* 
We were ditched out by my friend Amanda who had previously attended all other LOTR premieres...she has two finals left at week's end. D'oh! I can rub her nose in it at her tat parlor's Xmas party on Saturday. So, we're picking up a couple of folk from AP's capoeira clan instead.
I also just checked my mail & received my mail order Xmas present to myself!
Happily, few things can diminish a well-earned good mood!
