So today I'm much better... The real achey sections are forearms & deltoids. The after-effect of the tendonitis flare-up is primarily gripping and clasping (insert joke here). Like turning a doorknob is two-hand ordeal, I just don't have the capacity to do so with one hand. However, swelling's down & I've done enough stretching and anti-carpal exercises to chance practicing a lil' later.
I finally tracked down the landlord of my favored apartment in the hunt. Hadn't gotten the chance to see it inside but, it's location was prime & shit, it has a widow's walk! It turns out that the person is remarkably (insert less polite adjective here) religious! Their representative plainly stated that several couples had been outright refused since they weren't married! The only reason I was being given the foot in the door was I'm polite over the phone and have an interesting last name...it's Philippino. My ever-wise girlfriend reminded me that if someone is so closed-minded as to refuse tenants based on marriage (illegal) then, chances all only higher that they just wouldn't care for the rest of us, as well... To only complicate the living situation more, they would also be living on the first floor...nail in the coffin, friends. There are plenty of other 2 BR apartment-shaped fish is the sea.

Boo for narrow minded religous zealots. Sorry that the widow's walk apartment is tied to such negativity, but like you said lots of other apartments out there. I am certain that the right one will present itself shortly, and I can't wait to hear how awesome it is.
