Today has been a massive slice of ace with a side order of freakin' awesomeness. Why? Here's why.
- I've not been to work for two days, and I have another day away from the accursed place.
- I am on the cusp of a life changing event As I've mentioned I've become interested in taking a course in computer maintenence. Yesterday I went to Crewe to see if this is something I want to do. Turns out it is. There are however a few obstacles in the way, it costs 4000 and I'd have to move. The moving part isnt a problem, I've wanted to get the fuck out of North Wales for ages. The finances are the problem. At the moment I have less than 30 to my name.
I may not have any money but I do have a family that is willing to do anything to make sure I don't turn my life into a utter waste of time. My Grandfather has stepped up and decided to foot the bill. Generosity like this transcends my vocabulary.
Upshot of this is that I'm probably only weeks away from quitting my shitty job and moving on to better things. Recently I've been completely down beat about my future (a parade of fucking awful thoughts) but now everything has turned around. This won't be easy however, theres a lot of hard work involved and I'm going to have to move away from all my friends and family.
The alternative is far far worse though.
- Once again I have to heap a huge ammount of thanks on The_New_Scum. Driving us to one of the best gigs ever, paying for a fantastic meal and for giving me the beer he got for Christmas. You sir are a star.
- A Wilhelm Scream, Failsafe and All Idols Fall. Thanks for a great night, you guys were awesome. I'm gonna be in pain for a few days but it was so worth it. There's is something special about watching a band that are just happy to be on stage giving it all, not because theres a pay check waiting for them. The crowd were great as well. Best gig i've been to in a long time.
And I get to do it all again in ten days
In conclusion I'm happier than I've been in years. And also quite drunk.
Hell I'm even thinking about solving my permanent singleness, this kinda positive thinking ia almost alien to me.
