My mom has been considering packing up and moving to Santa Fe, NM for awhile now. It's always been something she's wanted to do and a place she's wanted to be. The house has been on the market now for maybe 4 weeks without a whole lot of luck.
Today my mom offered me the house. If I pay the mortgage and sign a year long "lease" with her to do so, I can stay.
This equates to roughly $1000 a month "rent" for 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, full kitchen, living room, dining room, family room, pretty much furnished (except for what she wants to sell).
I could extremely comfortably fit in two roommates, and knock this price down to nearly nothing. I could afford it on my own, but it would be tight. One roommate would be great.
The only consideration is that I don't REALLY want to live in Plano. But how can this offer be beat? Living in Plano isn't that bad. It's closer to work, furthur from party.... but it's a HOUSE.

I actually met Miss D and her husband first in real life a few months back at Rockstar Karaoke. She's friends with my friend Matt (not kickball Matt, but one of his old school friends). She's very beautiful and so, so, nice.
