Practise went well last night with the new boy. I can now reveal that his identity is none other than Neil from Firday Night Gunfight, the metalcore band Guss does vocals for. He's been a mate for ages and frankly there's no-one I'd sooner have filling in during Hamish's hiatus. He nailed tracks from the split with consummate ease, I'm embarrased to say most of the screw-ups came from yours truly (to be fair, I haven't so much as looked at my guitar since the tour ended.) One more like that and we'll be back to gigging level.
Speaking of gigs, it looks like we'll be playing the Canons Gait in Edinburgh on Sunday the 22nd of October with Flatlands. Can't wait! Also we've had whispered offers of a couple of gigs in Glasgow before the end of the year. More on that when I know more.
Also, if you're interested in getting your greasy paws on a copy of the IX/Naked Shit split EP before you catch us live, then contact Guss via his Myspazz, or drop me a message here and I'll send you his email address. We've got about 25 left from the first run, but we're going to be getting more done.

That's how I see it anyway.
