I got in my first fender-bender today. Someone didnt use their blinker so when they turned I had to slow damn fast. Luckily I allow a fair amount of room between me and the person Im behind. But the ass behind me didnt. The car behind him had enough room to stop with out hitting him, but the ass behind him didnt. The guy in the third car was pissed.
The bad news is it wasnt my truck I was driving. The good news is the only damage was the hitch cover that was broken off. But its designed to do that. He is going to have to replace his entire front bumper on his Jetta; it will cost him about $500 -$600. But when they drove off I noticed they where keeping their distance from the car in front of them.
Bad news for the guy that hit me is he let his insurance laps. Good news for the third car involved is that the person that hit him had insurance.
