I was feeling a bit down this evening on account of having just been dumped by my girlfriend when suddenly the following video cheered me up.

The video features Kermit The Frog performing "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails. I found it both hilarious and darkly disturbing to see Kermit shooting up drugs and fapping off over a photo of Miss Piggy.

It made me...

In a breakup, all of these songs get to you, even the ones you previously couldn't stand! But it's hard to stay too long in self-pity with a gem like this little video. I'm posting it everywhere!
metatag:
Sorry to hear about the break up.

This made me laugh. Hope it makes you feel better too.

Courtesy of YouTube, here is a somewhat sensationalist and, in places, rather amusing documentary concerning the notorious magician Aleister Crowley.

1-5 Aleister Crowley - Masters of Darkness
2-5 Aleister Crowley - Masters of Darkness
3-5 Aleister Crowley - Masters of Darkness
4-5 Aleister Crowley - Masters of Darkness
5-5 Aleister Crowley - Masters of Darkness

Any thoughts anyone?

If this interests you then I heartily...

"I admit that I have no inner resources/for I am heavy bored" (John Berryman, Dream Songs) wink

Update: I have been playing a lot of guitar in the R. Fripp tuning and reading scholarly stuff on early Christianity. Also a book called "Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey in Christian Hermeticism"....

I'm curious about the Crowley clips, though I'm pretty sure my Crowley days are long gone, Gnosis and Power not really being a way of doing things that works for me....

Hi folks smile

First things first, it is time for a bit of music. Back when I was in my late teens I was introduced to the music of Black Widow. Black Widow were a progressive rock band back in the late 1960s through into the 1970s and their music had a decidedly Occult theme. They became notorious for their stage performances (acting out rituals on

Lately, I have been reading a highly informative, yet thoroughly hilarious book called An Utterly Impartial History of Britain or 2000 Years of Upper Class Idiots in Charge by John O'Farrell. Read this book!! It is awesome!

Meanwhile, I would like to share with you the following cautionary tale for the young wink

Welcome to Mr Mocata's Esoteric Book Club. Upon entering, please be advised to hang your sanity on the coat stand provided.

Mr Mocata's current book recommendation is "Shadows Over Baker Street" edited by Michael Reeves and John Pelan. This extraordinary little tome consists of a collection of short stories by various authors which blend elements of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories with...

Hi folks

Today's exciting news from wonderful world of me, myself and I, is that I have decided to relearn Latin. A long time ago I learned a bit of Latin (ok, I did a GCSE in Latin) but I have since largely forgotten what little I had learned. However, I have purchased a book and I have even begun working through the aforementioned book....

Enjoying it, yes, but it goes much to quickly. Maybe soon the stress will actually make me do something productive! Ha.

Latin, yikes. I did that in high school, and just squeaked by. A good experience, but I'd rather just had an etymology course. smile

Hey you, what's going on.

How long do you think you could go without masturbating?

Obviously there is no particular ethical reason why you should go without masturbating but as a simple test of will, how long do you think you would last? Years ago an acquaintance of mine came up with the theory that people have so little will power that nobody would be able to manage to abstain...

Hi, I'm not offended, and I think he's probably a nice guy defending his friends. The thing is, they live just round the corner from me, and neighbourhood communities do like to warn about these things. I don't think there's so much danger for the kids over in Seattle from this particular thing.

I think I had gone about two or 3 weeks, but apparently I got too drunk and while I was blacked out did some crazy shit with my roommate while my boyfriend was passed out. shocked ..does that count? (if you want most the details, you gotta read my blog)

I love that programme. Corruption and evil was so simple and straightforward in the 80s. It hinged on clear parameters of right and wrong.

Thanks for the invitation to the occult group !

I wanted to do a voodoo set cause I love witchcraft, and I wanted a kinda dark set. And I'm fond of astrology, tarot and magnetism, actually !

It was also a joke for a friend who uses to call me Sorceres ^
