I am no longer a veggie.

Back in 1989, when I was 16, I stopped eating the flesh of land and air animals. In 1991, when I was 18, I stopped eating sea creatures. Years later in 2003 or 2004, I stopped eating eggs and dairy products. My primary motivation at the time was a belief that eating meat makes a person spiritually or ritually...

Blimey!! I have mumps! The weird thing is that I have already had mumps. I had mumps when I was eleven.

The other day when I got up my neck was bit swollen near my jaw and below the ear. I was in no pain but when I probed the swelling with my fingers it felt a bit tender. Over the course of the day,...

Lately, I have been spending my evenings lurking suspiciously in the back garden staring at the sky. Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn have all been very visible this month. I can't claim to be especially knowledgeable about Astronomy but the planets have been unmissable lately so I thought I'd take a look at them and spend a bit of time seeing which constellations I could...

I think it was last week, I noticed the sliver of new moon, attended by two planets. I assume planets, they were bigger and brighter than any stars I can see here in Milwaukee. Which planets, I dunno. But, it was a cool sight to see.

Now its time for some music... "Io Pan" by Inkubus Sukkubus

Great god of all mankind, of nature and of lust
Of the future yet untold and nations in the dust
From an age of wood and stone, through bronze, iron and steel
In the forests and in the trees and in...

Greetings. My apologies for the lack of a recent update. I am afraid that I have been working 6 days per week most weeks lately and have NO energy.

As have to use up my annual leave by the end of the year (use it or lose it, baby), I have booked a few days off work and am sitting around reading and trying not...

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it. Though over here we call it a 'guitar'. You British have funny names for everything. Like 'aubergine'.
