sooo, the thing about the universe is that the one common force between everything is attraction or allurement. galaxies are attracted to other galaxies. stars are attracted to other stars. planets are attracted to other planets and the sun. we can call it gravity and we would be correct but what is gravity? it can be measured, yes, but what is it made of? We know light is photons traveling in waves. We know sound is particles vibrating. we know the structure of sub atomic particles. no scientist can tell you what gravity is! as far as we know it's a massless force. a force of attraction as large as the universe. the thing that has been playing with my mind recently is not just that the universe is built on atraction,but that our small lives flow with the same allurementsl. the attractions we feel for eachother, the attraction we feel for music or art, the pull of nature. the things we find beautiful. as individuals our desires and feelings, our passions, are the ways in which we reflect the beauty of the universe. let us take the time to celebrate the beauty of these attractions, big or small. it is not the differences that divide us. it is the differences and creativity among us that feed the universe, for we were made to reflect her beauty.
