Who Is it thats asking these questions? Is it just you/me talking to myself or am i supposed to be an autonomous entity?

hey there past me (by 3 seconds), i guess if you had real friends you wouldn't have to write your own FAQ questions. BURRRRRNN! Take that past me. Although, that hurts. shit.

Why Vortext?

Its been my Rap name since forever. Some of my rap friends don't actually know my real name which is always odd when your making someone tea and your like "hey, JizzleBling you want two sugars?".

Why do you always seem to write with a load of slang?

First its fun, i do enough sensible talking to people i work for. Secondly one of the reasons i love Hip Hop is language. New words and expressions are fun. Don't think i couldn't talk to your mum about the taste improvements made to M&S sandwiches. I got that play on lock homes.

what's your motto?

'Push.'

I've got nothing but progress, happiness and broken bones from pushing, and bones heal stronger.

You seem cocky, hating arrogance should i ignore you?

I've got a lot of self-belief but i also have that belief in you too. Everyone can push themselves to do amazing things, that's life's gift. Just look on this site and you'll see how many people are doing incredible things.


What do you hate?

I hate assumption. I'm a child of Descartes, I believe nothing is certain. To illustrate that i can tell you that my current intellectual problem is deciding if 'I' as an entity exists when language, social construct and the mechanics of thoughts are taken into account. assuming we have no soul, is thought the result of the computer like system that is our brain processing decisions based on retained past data? If so thought is predetermined by factors we do not control, and thus we have no free will. Considering our minds are then conditioned by language and social morality is there really a 'I' to "I think there for I am".


In conclusion i hate it when people work on assumptions when the universe is so much more beautiful and wild.

So ok, do you believe in love?

Ah now imaginary person/self you have breached a real wormhole of a question... I do believe in love, as a combination of many factors that create together something so much more beautiful then its parts. Like a Francis Bacon painting is so much more then the individual brush strokes. I believe love stems from personality, understanding,chemistry,attraction, humor, truth, lies, connection, contact, art, hate, listening, ignorance, sunshine, rain, warmth, fear, pride, stars, music, oxygen.., Love Is the painting of two people.


what do you want more then anything?

To never have a specific answer to that question. I want music, comedy, art, love, fun, fear, and to learn.


what do you dislike about yourself?

I cant switch off. I get lost in my head and cant escape to act with my heart. Sometimes i'll lie rather then take what i'm due. My mind see's things so much more clearly then my tongue can shape. Often i am very very wrong and i forget that.

whats the best things in your life?

music,comedy, my best friend with beer (as nature intended), my father, nature, pushing boundaries, the girl ive been kissing.
