word. First up, sorry to my good amigos who i let down by not making it to Brighton Saturday. Mark tells me it was awesome. I had every intent of going and even asked to perform early so i could escape, which meant i had to follow some beautiful poetry with my bumbling set, but when i told my friends they looked hurt and i realized i had to stay and support there first gigs as well as prop up Holly who was ill and surviving only on the sugar of her fourth bag of Haribo.
i did my second gig at the poetry society (a 15 minute set) and had an awesome time. I've even been invited back to there new venue, which is a result. The night ended with a seven foot (in heels) transvestite telling me a tale about cheesecake. which on reflection is one of the best was to end any evening.
Oh and if you fancy an evening of comedy and stories with free cakes from the Great Cake Escape Girls come along to CoolSchmool. I can promise Nibbles (the first talking cat), Holly (now gigging with the arts council.. oh la la) and a load other comedians including yours truly doing my extended set. should be a really fun night.
