what a lazy day! paid some bills, surfed the net, took a nap and finished watching Krzysztof Kieslowski's Three Colors trilogy. all three are good but i liked White the best. Julie Delpy was in it. need i say more

) It's funny you mention the Terrence O'Rourke textbook for ASL because that's the book I use with my students out at George Fox. It's a good book but it's really hard to learn ASL in one dimension from a book. How old is your nephew? There are lots of good "kid sign" books out there that could help you communicate with him easily. Thanks for dropping in and saying hi!

i just got out of bed. i tried to sleep in really late but Kat wouldn't leave me alone. on my days off when i don't set the alarm she always wakes me by licking my hair! and she's relentless so it doesn't do a bit of good to push her away. she thinks the world revolves around her food dish!
well it looks like my daughter and the boyfriend gonna stay together and be parents together. so i'll be "grandpa" about november!
