I just got back from my job interveiw..... I think it went okay but I won't know for sure until Monday. I really want this job, but I'm not going to get my hopes up either. I haven't gone on an interview in three years now, and while I don't think I bombed it, I don't expect to get the first job I apply for... know what I mean? I have no problem covering my tattoos, but I absolutely REFUSE to change my hair. PERIOD!!!!!!!!
anyway, I'm sitting here listening to Getz/Gilberto, and thinking that I would really like to eat some chicken from Popeye's..... It's a miracle that I don't weigh 500 pounds...mmmmmmm...mashed potatoes and gravy......mmmmmmmmmmm........... yum..........
Dude, I'm so retarded... last night I was talking to some random person in a cafe, and I forgot my own name. It was really embarrassing, and I felt like a complete airhead.... how lame is that?
I have tomorrow off, and I really want to go to the beach at Santa Monica. I love playing on the swings there and just looking out at the sea and thinking about cool stuff. I really like the tide pools there too... I could spend hours wading through them at low tide... they're amazing..... I loose track of all things incuding myself and time, I get so wrapped up in my thoughts. But it's the most peaceful feeling... I adore it....
I'm very surprised that I am not tired after getting up so early. I got up at seven this morning. I usually wake up at around two in the afternoon, and it's been like that for the past three years... maybe there's hope for this old bird to keep a 9-5 yet.......
I'm auditioning at Cheetah's next monday, just in case I don't get that job. I've had it with the Clown Room..... I'm not going to kiss anyones ass, especially dancers that think they're all that and a bag of chips, who've been working there for ten years, and don't evn know what it's like to work another club, let alone a big club..... It's not my style....... dancing is just a job for me. I go to work to make money, not friends. It's cool if I meet someone that I connect with, but it's usually only one out of every ten dancers that I can tolerate. I deffinetly don't go to work to be part of some "family" ( I call it the Racket) that has no future, except for dancung untill you're too old to be on stage. I promised myself I wouldn't dance past 30.... 30 isn't too far away for me... a year and a half.....
It is sooooooooooooooooooo beautiful out today!!! I'm so stoked! i get depressed when there's not enough sunlight too many days in a row..... there's not a cloud in the sky here today...yay!
I put in a schedule at the clown room for next week, but I don't know whether I'll actually work it... I'm pretty fed up....
but I'm not going to think about that for now... for now I'm going to go frolic in the sun! Hooray!

1. My favorite group is The Kitchen. I spend the most time in either the private SG group, or SGLA.....
2. hockey and ultimate frisbee... I like lacross too, I played when I was still interested in high school....
3. random Voltaire fact: I can't think of anything good today..... hmmmm let me think.....when I was ten years old, I swallowed a live frog for a dollar.... oh, and I just painted my stapler with multi colored glitter nail polish.......

2. I like watching basketball. A lot. I developed a bit of a crush on Steve Nash last year. Playoffs would totally fuck me up when I was an undergrad because they happened at the same time as exams. I suck at playing sports. I like shooting hoops, but I'd rather be reading.
