dinner last night was fine. I made pasta with marinara from scratch. I've been working on that marinara recipe for several years now, I think i'ts finally perfect. then again, it reaaly just depends on the flavor and sweetness of the tomatoes..... It's a pretty good recipe though.... everyone I've made it for has asked for the recipe and I never know what to say since I don't measure anything, I just know what it looks like... even when I've posted recipes in my journal, I've had to guess at the proportions. Fortunately, they were good guesses...
Any way, after the company left, the bartender called and asked me to come in. I guess some one flaked out on thier shift.....that was good, because I really needed the money.....
Today I think I'm going to walk around drinking tea, and watching all the tourists.... I live less than ten minutes walking distance from Hollywood and Highland.... It's easy to tell who the tourists are, but I've made a game of guessing where they're from.... I usually hang out outside the Green Room and watch them all walk by.... another part of the rush up and down Hollywood Blvd.....
I have to buy new sunglasses today, as a certain person stepped on them and broke them... Oh well, I shouldn't have a hard time finding a cool pair.... I do live in LA, after all...

I love wering shots and a tanktop in whats considered winter.
I'm off to go get my daily intake of vitamin D....
I think the lack of sunlight was the main reason I was so miserable in portland.......
