Hmmmm..... I have alittle time before I have to start getting ready for work. I've had a series of interesting occurences happen in my life in the past few weeks. I just never seem to think about them when I update my journal, and end up rambling about whatever's on my mind.
A week or so ago,I was up late as usual, and decided to go to bed around four or so. I had my usual hard time going to sleep, and while I was laying there trying to get to sleep, I heard my alarm clock fizzle out, and noted that the power was out all over my apartment... "just an outage" I asumed, and went back to trying to get to sleep. about ten minutes later, I mstill wasn't asleep, and jumped about ten feet in the air when the building fire alarm went off. I looked out the peep hole and the hallway was dark... "Fuck" I thought. So I got dressed and grabbed my purse and phone and ventured out into the dark hallway; worrying about my cat the whole time. Meanwhile the fire alarm is still going off and I can't see shit in the dark hallway, but I'm trying to figure out if the building is really on fire... I run into the people from the apartment next door, and the woman across the hall. none of us know what's going on, but agree that we should go down stairs, and figure out what's up, and that the alarm is really loud. so we go down stairs, only to discover that the street lights are out too. I still don't know what the cause of the outage was, because I don't pay attention to local news, but I'm assuming someone hit a major power pole, and knocked the whole grid out. Finally about twenty minutes later, the alarm stopped, and all the tennents that were out front of the building all went back upstairs, and went back to bed.
I'm listening to Flesh Conspiracy right now. It's pretty good.
I went to china town with my hot friend Scar, and all I have to say is that L.A.'s Chinatown doesn't even hold a candle to SF's. I still got a cool dress though, and got to hang out with my friend.... I miss SF sometimes.... I need to get serious about my plan to go up there and work.... I know that scar wants to go with me, and work too.
Sweet! I just got a call from a friend about doing some foot fetish work! this is fabulous because the industry had been so bad lately. work has sucked horribly lately. last weekend was just okay, and tues and wed this week were really just pathetic. I made less than 50 bucks both days. It's discouraging to have two bad days in a row..... I really hope this weekend picks things up, Or I am going to have to do a submissive shoot, which I HATE doing, but the money is realy good in my case, because I have only done two sub shoots, but get offers ALL THE TIME. I just hate bottoming. I can't stand it. My contortionist ass can get out of all kinds of bindings......
I finally got some prints back from one of my San Diego shoots, and a cd of images, that I still need to go through. then I have to burn a copy of the disc, and send it to the person who is building my portfolio site...... In fact, I really need to call him.
there's alot of places on my list to go visit in america. they are: New Orleans, Atlanta, Colorado, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, boston, baltimore, DC., charlotte, raliegh, and key west...... My cat has to be able to come with me though.
I went to the New/Old perversion last night. It was okay.
yesterday, I shot a set with
Lucille, and that went really well.... I think it should be cool. pretty standard, except for the poses which missy and I directed, but the end result should be cute. We wore matching dresses, and shot on a burgundy couch in front of an orange wall.
I have almost everything set up for my shoot with LITHIUM_PICNIC, and I'm super excited about that. I have a super creative solo set Idea that I have been wanting to do now for a year. I think that the location/setting is really ideal for his style of photography. I ma excited about some of the extra fashoi fetish work I am going to do with him too.... I have some cool clothes that I'm excited to shoot in.
well, I'm gonna chug another mountain dew, and start getting ready for work. have a fab weekend everybody.

I said I would not edit posts, but I forgot that I was Virgo, and I have found myself to be wrong about not editing for error. I would not edit for content I don't think. Hell, I'm even posting a correction to a journal comment. How pathetically Virgo of me.
