wow.... there's alot of comments for me to respond too...but first things first..... thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! whether it was in my journal or on the boards.... thanx!
and now It's time to tell you all about:
VOLTAIRE'S BIRTHDAY EXTARAVAGANZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my birthady actually began on thursday, when I was sitting around being bummed out that I never go out, and being unhappy about my antisocial tendancies.... then a wierd phone number with a strange are code showed up on my cell phone, so I picked it up, more curious than excited... It was Scarlett( who is in town for a couple of days) asking me if I wanted to go to the beach....so I say sure hell yes, because i love the beach, and we all go out to my favoreite part of the beach at Santa Monica; the part where the tide pools are, and the surfers are always close by..... then we went and ate some food at my favorite hole in the wall, and I went home to get ready for an extensive night out with my very hot friend Scar. Trilobyte picks me up, and we head out to pick up Scar... we start drinking in the car on the way there, and we are out of booze by the time we get to the club... so we go in to consume copious amounts of liquid refreshment,and some libations in the bathroom....
anyway, It was a really good time.... Seether, Ltrain, and some others that I can't remember were there... although I know at one point in the evening, i talked to everyone from SG that showed.... Im also met the club promoter/manager from another club, and I think I'm performing at the bondage ball on the 30th.... he gave me three free passes to the event, I just need him to call me..... either way I have three VIP passes to the event, so that's cool.....anyway, I ended up not going to bed until 6am due to libations... but when I did sleep, It was great...........
The next day was friday, and I had to work... I went to work and of course it was shitty..... It pretty nuch sucked until I got my birthday dance..which happened to be pretty shocking... the girls stripped me naked, and gave me a lap dance infront of the whole club..... My boss got me a cake, and fortunately I managed to sneak a bottle of champagne into the club..... I left broke( like 35bucks broke), but I had fun hanging out with my ladies.....oh yeah, and scarlett and aries showed up, but they didn't stay long...
Saturday was the actual day of my birthday,I woke up late as usual, and sat around for a while.... my cell phone rang off the hook, talked to everyone in my family and they all gave me shit about how old I am... It was bitchen.....If you can't laugh at yourself, you don't deserve to laugh at all..... so then we go out to breakfast, I had pork chops they were yummy....I went home and took a nap.... then I went out to sushi, and ate lots of raw fish and of course a seaweed salad..YUM!!! then I went to Boardner's to meet my hot friend Scar, and our other friend.... the place was packed, and I couldn't find them, but I ran into Maxx, MissMeisha, I can't remember the other guys user name, Trillian, and my new friends Brad and sarah..... It was really bitchen.... I drank plenty of frosty beverages, and had a great time, and everyone was really cool...... then Scar showed back up, and we hung out for a bit with brad and sarah, and then we all headed back home because the club was closing.... I got home, got laid, and fell asleep......
Sunday I spent in recovery... I was totally spent, and it wish I wasn't because I got invited to a cocktail party at some good friends house, and I was too tired to go..... LAME! I actually ended up falling asleep at about 11pm last night, I was pretty thrashed....
It's really beautiful out today, and I think I'm going to go have a walk in it before it dissappears....

I SWEAR I'll do it soon..... but I gotta run, cause I'm starving, and I'm making pasta sauce with yellow tomatoes and proscuitto from scratch... god I'm starving....

-I think old is age you reach when you just sort of give up on everything you love and everything that excites you. You know, bah humbug, stick in the mud, etc.
