The other day, I heard one of the tracks off Radiohead's new album.... and it was awful.... It kinda bummed me out a little....
Last week (ten or so days ago) I saw Coldplay's sold out hollywood bowl show for free, because I've hiked around enough in the hills now, that I know how....
There's some band that's popular now called Siguros(I think I spelled that wrong)....... I can't stand them. the music doesn't change enough, and the whole album sounds like the same song over and over..... I can't stand it. I feel like most musicians today that are popular are not even trying to make new and Innovative music... It just seems like they're all just trying to cash in on the whole Radiohead and Beck vibe.... I feel that most music today is only merly a mediocre copy of another musician's genius....none of it seems original anymore...
My mood seems to reflect todays weather the way the ocean reflects sunlight, appearing like slowly moving shards of bright glass..... Slightly dismal, a bit cantankerous, but nevertheless, still optimistic....
I just woke up, but I can already tell It's going to be a good day.......
