Good afternoon!
I just got in.... went for a six mile hike this morning, and hung out at the spot that I hang out at, and read part of "The Scarlett Letter"... It's really good....
my vacation/weekend getaway was really cool... I ended up not camping and renting a motel room, because all the campgrounds were full, and I don't know where else to camp in Santa Barbara.... the next day I went to the beach, and walked through the tide pools... It was nice....
I'm wondering how long I can go with out dancing before I need the money really bad.... I guess we'll see... It's nice to have a break.... It reminds me that I have alot of other job skills, and that It's riddiculous that I'm not taking advantage of those skills.... I'm thinking about waitressing for a bit.......
I'm not up to that much today. I'm making pork chops, with collard greens, and black eye peas... soul food.......
Sitting here listening to depeche mode, one of my favorite bands of all times.... I remember every show of theirs that I've been to since I was 14.... I even like thier old stuff, when they were pretty much Britain's "boy band"..... hmmmmmm...........
It's overcast here today, but not cold.....
Okay, story time:
One time, when I still lived in Portland, I guess about June of 2001, before I was an SG, ....wow, what a run on sentence that was becoming.... Anyway, I was working at a strip club called Union Jack's, and Also Magic Gardens.... Well I had gone out drinking one night, riding my bike to the bar on Killingsworth in NE PDX, as usual... I won every game of pool I played, and drank probably about eighteen beers, and closed the bar... The bartender offered me a ride home, but I declined, because everyone knows that riding your bike drunk is the raddest thing in the world. I hopped on my little bike and took off like a shot Racing through the back streets like a bat out of hell... decided to some extra riding since I didn't have to be at work until 8pm the next day..... Rode all the way out to the bluffs, and the sunken barge.... It was a good ride. Drank my two road beers and headed home.when I finally got to my street I noticed that the park I lived next door to was watering the grass... I thought, "No biggie, I've ridden in the rain hundreds of times", and proceeded to do some crazy circus tricks on the wet pavement.... I was going pretty fast, and the first ones I pulled off with out a problem. Then I decided to try something new... Bad idea.... I went to go into it, and something went wrong. I went flying off my bike, and landed on the sidewalk, sliding about three feet. my cheekbone and chin were what stopped me. amazingly, I stopped about ten feet from my house. I collected my bike from the street, and went inside. My housemate had just gotten home form bouncing at Magic Gardens, and screamed when He saw me. My face was a bloody mess. there were bloody scrapes on my cheekbone, chin, nose, and upper lip......... needless to say I couldn't work for a while... oh well... I got some calendula cream and in about ten days I went right back to work............ the moral of the story: Don't do stupid shit on your bike wasted.
well, my pork chops are almost done, So I'm gonna bail..... have a Wonderful day!

1. In public, Do you go out of your way to talk to someone that seems/looks interesting to you?
2. what kind person are you in public? what roles do you assume?
3. How many nights a week do you go out? Do you go out of your way to look good?
1. Totally, I can't resist. I'm not intimidated easily, So it's easy to approach people for me, even if they end up being assholes in the end... I don't take offense to it.......... sometimes I don't feel like talking to anyone, and I wont. that's usually the day that everyone wants to ask questions about my tattoos or hair..... figures......
2.I guess I'm pretty outgoing, for the most part. As mentioned above, I can be kinda anti social sometimes...... but not usually, for the most part....I guess the what kind of roles do you play question was kinda extreme, but i'll answer it anyway the best I can... at work( if it's a strip club): heres a few: seductress; take no shit Dame; Intelligent, and won't play your game, no matter how much money you have, I don't care; the ultimate lady; the smart ass, and whatever else. I don't pull punches at work, or anywhere. Out and about in LA: Take no shit Dame, Just another person, genuinly interested, happy go lucky, gives money to bums, and what ever else that I feel... wow, Part two of that question was really hard to answer.... I had to actually think about it and give names to all the "roles" I play....
3. I don't go out as often as one might think I do.... probably twice a week... I do go out of my way to look presentable... In different degrees depending on where I'm going for the evening.... I don't like wearing makeup, other than a nice neutral lipstick and maybe some mascara, or eyeliner, but you usually can't tell that I'm wearing makeup, If I have it on..... I hate wearing foundation and powder, that stuff will make your skin look old fast. If you like looking young, do yourself a favor and trade the base make up for a good moisturizer......

1) hmmm. i guess that would be "not often". usually i try to just leave people alone. and hope that they do the same for me. perhaps i should start bugging people more though!
2) pretty outgoing here though. not really in the "running up to total strangers in an open-setting" type of guy but usually blend in quickly in social situations. tend to talk too much if conversation dies a horrible death to try to get people going again. actually, that is not altogether true. get some beverages in me and i am liable to go talk to anyone! (forgot about last weekend already!)
3) not often. tend to stay close to home as home is pretty far away from everything else. once a week maybe? look good? that is a good one. i wish i could figure out how to dress for outage... but unfortunately, i am a bit of a slob when it comes to dressing. jeans, t-shirt, mussed up hair. that is the stubert look.
Being drunk and in charge of a pushbike is one of the greatest highs known to man... if there's three of you on the one bike at the same time, it's funnier still, especially when you all crash into a tourist sign and the one driving chips three teeth and the rest of you laugh yourselves sick. The visible scars and wounds next day are good for a laugh, too... haven't ridden for a while, tho I have been looking at the MTB for the last fortnight now that the weather's finally here... haven't even had a motorbike for a while following the last crash.... anyway:
1)all the time, assuming we're in a social situtation. I don't generally approach people in the street as there are far too many neanderthals in these parts and the creatives/alternatives tend to congregate in a few places. But then, hell yes. I'm out of the habit a bit, but I go through periods of trying out different bars just to meet different people, and when you're the only person in town with a mohawk you can't exactly blend in and make like wallpaper
2)apparently I look unapproachable... several friends and acquaintances have reported tales of overheard conversations along the lines of "wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him" or "I'm going to cross the road to avoid that bloke" kind of thing. And there's me thinking I was just being kind of anonymous and aloof. Aloof is probably the best or closest. This probably explains a previous life as a doorman and the main reason I can't wear a suit without looking like a CPA. Once people get under the armour, though, I'm a pussycat. I like to think I can get along with just about anyone, but that said I don't suffer fools for long...
3)not nearly as often as I'd like, which I'm trying to remedy. This last year it's been once a fortnight or less, for any number of reasons from cash to commitments. And yeah, if I'm going out for more than a pint of milk, I always go the extra mile for appearance..... The days when an old army shirt and a pair of bondage strides would suffice are some way back in history....
