Yesterday was my last day as an active duty Marine.......YESSSSSSSSSS! Woo Hoo! *runs about apartment, leaping furniture and pumping fist in the air*
well for now anyway
anyhow..so now all my efforts are bent into getting ready for and preparing for my trip...my Combined Cross Continental Pandemonieum Theater and Shadow Show. I've had to revise it somewhat, since I cannot go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon....the road to it is closed until May due to snow. (what is this....."snow"....you speak of...it is unknown in Southern Texas) and I also had to cut out the East Coast part of my trip
partly because transportation fell through and partly because I have to be in Chicago on March 31st for the impulsivly bought flight to.....Amsterdam!
holy shit! I'm going to Europe for a freakin' MONTH!
*resumes running about room and leaping furniture*
so far the travel plan looks vaguely like: from Texas to New Mexico and whereever that is on the way to Vegas to LA/Irvine to San Fran to Redwood Forests to Portland to Seattle to Canvouver...er...Vancouver. to *zoooooooooooooom* Iowa to visit Moms to Chicago to.....Europe. I is essited!
but before I go I have to have the car tuned, oil changed, fuel system flushed.
must apply to University of Tex at Austin because the deadline for fall is frikkin March 1st!!! which means acquiring transcripts from my other 3 attended colleges (I'm almost done...promise
)
and paying off enough student loan debts so that the Dept of Education doesn't post someone in my first class to arrest me as I walk through the door all ready to rejoin academea. oh and I want to get contacts and tattoos before I leave too.
the next full moon is the 16th of Feb...and that's when I leave...I better get crackin!
edit Feb 5th: seems I am going to New York tomorrow for the weekend. so my travels kickoff somewhat early.
