I used to hate New Year's. really detest it. It wasn't that I never had fun or didin't have somebody to kiss at midnight. I always had a good time. I just hated the concept...that some arbitrary day that didn't even mark the renewel of seasonal cycles was used to mark the end of a measurement of time, and locked humans into the paradigm of the repititous march of seconds, minutes, days months etc. segmented and seperated into parts...rather than seeing time as one big whole piece. I thought it was important. I still do, but it doesn't bother me nearly as much. I mean...fuck it! it's a good excuse for a party and being with friends, so that adds some meaning to an otherwise meaningless holiday...right?
so I want to wish you all and Happy Wednesday! and may the next 52 or so consecutive Wednesdays and all the moments in between be good ones.

well for my new year's I'll be going a technoing and dancing my butt off for a bit and then back to the apt to be with all the friends and watch fireworks and get...inebriated and altered....I should possibly maybe be online.
