I do not get sick of moving, but I do get tired of it. It seems I spend most of my time packing up my meager belongings to go somewhere else. I just made it back to my apartment (that i have spent less than a month out of a full year's lease living in) in time to pack my library, my closet, and my gear and get gone. I'm not even going to bother finding a place to live in Austin until I have finished my roadtrips to NC/NYC and SF/PDX/Seattle etc. etc. etc. moving...moving...stuck in perpetueal motion will wear you down a bit.
some of the oddest things about being back are rediscovering how odd my friends are and thereby my own oddness since it has been somewhat subdued whilst working in the Marine mode. it also seemed to bank the fires of my expression a bit. My wit was locked in my head behind my mouth. and locked out at the wrist from my hands. So now that I am back in my own set I can work more easily on word and image craft that I almost forgot I loved so much. I need to demolish some of this detachment. going through the motions is fruitless exercise.
now let's see how empty all these promises are/are not/ are too!/ am not!/ did so/ never!
ahhh the joys of mild schizophrenia...when you just occasionally find yourself talking to yourself in the first person plural!
serendipity is coming home and watching Hedwig and the Angry Inch with your best friend and making him watch Waking Life finally and then finding out that J Mitchell was staying in our apt for a while and they had lunch with the animator from Waking Life...and I was in Cuba during all of this! ack!

Did you ever see this cartoon about a pincushion man? And he's the terror of balloony-land? It was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid 'cause it was so weird, but nobody else ever knows what i'm talkin' bout!
