Off to splend an obligatory weekend with the extended family. Supposed to involve going down to the lovely Texas coast and go out on a boat and entice aquatic animals to impale their faces on hooks.
I don't mind fishing, really. it's usually( when not surrounded by 4 year old cousins and squabbling family members) peaceful, and I often eat what I catch. but I think I'll probably spend more time enjoying being out on the water (forecast: intermittent severe thunderstorms) and reading or whatever.
