Quick update before I go away for the weekend. I think. Normally the week before drill I am getting called by my squad leader and the plt. guide and the plt. sgt. and the plt leader (who at the moment is a staff sgt...he's usually calling me because somehow I got designated plt. geek and have all the rosters on my laptop) and fire team members and so on...and this week...nothing. but Drill is supposed to be this weekend. I have the schedule right here. with my luck they moved it to next week so that I'd have to miss the SG burlesque show. 
guess I'll find out tomorrow.
so, yeah...my soon to be roommate is going to be dropping by here at my work so I can sign the rental agreement on our apt. that we move into next week. it'll be interesting. he gets the more set aside of the bedrooms since he has a boyfiend and all. but I still like my room a lot..four thin tall windows looking out onto a bamboo grove...I'll post pics after I'm moved in. the only real source of stress is the money, which wouldn't be an issue if my motorcycle wasn't going to cost $700 to get back on the street again! so rent and deposit and repair bill on the bike all due next week, plus setting up the electricity etc. ugh. that's the thing formost on my mind right now rather than squad tactics and all that.
oh...and I finally beat Morrowind the other day...still have both expansion packs but those can wait. I started playing the second Max Payne game today and OMFG! *jumps up and down like a anime schoolgirl* it SOOOOO ROCKS! it's beeeeeeautiful. wonderfully rendered and soo sooo soo much fun. I'm not a violent person...honest! but that game is sooo fun. and I'm not gonna get to play it all weekend (probably)
well I guess I get to play with real guns this weekend...not that it's play and I never think of it as playing. I am a specialist with my particular and I treat it very very respectfully.
on second thought...I hope we don't have drill this weekend...it's freakin' cold up at Ft. Hood and I can weasel my way out of next weekend if I really have to.
