on the last day of 2003, I burnt the hell out of my neck fixing a hot water pipe..and my motorcycle exploded...impending repair bill: somewhere between $600-$850. but that's ok...because today is a whole new year. hurrah.

I did have a good time tonight though. the city was foggy and rainy as fuck, yet me and some friends climbed up on top of a house to watch fireworks and had the cops called on us, who couldn't believe they were called to oust such good spirited, well behaved trespassers and didn't even bother. and I got really drunk...and still fairly am..and got to spend time with my closest friends still in town. I'll worry about my new apartment and the massive moto repair bill later...like in a few hours.

looking back over the last year in a somewhat sober state: I came back off active duty, traveled for two and half months in 11 different countries. saw snow falling for the first time while playing in Central Park in NYC. finally got to see Vegas, Portland, Seattle, London and Italy and Budapest and Prague. ,et some cool damn people on my trip (y'all know who you are). I reunited with close friends I hadn't seen in over a year. bought a motorcycle and learned to ride it. took a shitload of photos which I am still sorting through. not a bad year all in all. 2004 has a lot to do to beat it.
