well a busy busy day off today and another one tomorroe too.
My best friend L came and picked me up and we dashed off to meet up with another person we work with to go Christmas shopping for our Secret Santa person for tomorrow's company party nonsense. I also bought a lot of family gifts while I was at it. Spent a good while at suuuuuuuuuper Target. wandered off to Schlotzky's for sandwiches and then Hobby Lobby where I bought an official shitload of picture frames....for which I shall have to fabricate pictures for some friends. Then to another place called World Market for alcohol filled chocolates, kitsch inspired by exotic locales, and I found little boxes of Bertte Bott's Every-flavoured beans!
came home for a bit then off to another friend's apartment to hang with them and watch Finding Nemo (never seen it) and drink Chianti. just got home. full day
tomorrow will be too. tomorrow is one too. get motorcycle inspected, get liscence plates and tags, company party and meeting up with the always supercool honeysuckle17...it'll be...interesting navigating the bike (STILL as of yet unnamed) through holiday shopping traffic. have good thoughts for me not winding up as a grease stain on the asphalt.
it has been noted that amongst my small but devoted circle of real life friends that I have officially become the unattached person in our group...the only single person in our group.
so now I must hear the costant utterances of "we need to find you someone..." and it's not that I don't appreciate the sentiment...these are my real and true close irl friends here, but I don't know if I really want that kind of help. I don't know..it's not really anything, but they seem to take it pretty seriously.

Yeah, it's all better now. My mom has been on a fucking shopping spree since her vacation started on Friday night. She asked me what else Grrlhavoc wanted for Christmas, and I told her the stuff I forgot. She bought everything and then some! My mom loves to shop and just never has the time. But when she does... Shit she shops.
