Well I thought I would eliminate the stress of holiday shopping by doing ALL of it online if possible. I figured it would be easier and funner and I could do it from work...right? WRONG!
it's not so bad. If I wasn't broke it'd be a lot easier. I don't care so much about the siblings and parents and such but I'd like to get something good for my baby age cousins. and for my close friends here. they've known my for anywhere from 7-14 years and they still talk to me. that deserves some kind of present...if not a Congressional award.
I'll get it all done I'm sure. I think I'm just stressing myself out by shopping too early. usually I save it for the 22nd or so and just buy everything in one swell foop. this online browsing is just too time consuming.
my father never ceases to amaze me. being the kind of person he is, I figured he'd throw some kind of spluttering fit or at the very least raise his eyes to the heavens and implore the On High as to why he has such a strange son when he saw me with my recently dyed hair and green eyes back in. instead he just grins amusedly and asks how the motorcycle is coming along...I guess he's seen me with blue hair years ago and he's no unfazed.
I'm not sure what else to blather about.
the best friend I've ever had is coming into town in a couple weeks, which is cool. he and I are supposed to maybe head up to Austin to hang out with a pyroaesthetic girl I habitually crush on. that should be fun...ummmm...well shit...that's about all that there is.
that and I got Cowboy Bebop AND Bowling for Colimbine from Netflix today! guess who'se staying up late to watch DVD's?
and all of you need to 1) go and wish Pyroerotica a happy happy birthday. and
2) love Clara cause she deserves it.

well....I applied to 13 different phd programs, and U of Chicago was the best school that accepted me and gave me the best deal....so....
