It wasn't as morose as it sounded; I just found something poetic in my bossa nova lyric searches and it seemed appropriate.
One of our most, ahem, frequent clients asked me, when I answered the phone at work Friday and wished her a Merry Christmas, if that's a holiday I celebrate. She was calling for unimportant reasons and wanted me to call the devout Catholic doctor that wasn't even on call that day. I'm not religious but come on.
I'm glad you had a good one.

I dislike it when my job schedules a project,in november, that requires me to work every day but christmas, thru Jan 2nd, but doesn't tell me until almost 5pm on Dec 21st.

great trip at an end. been sitting in chicago o'hare since 6pm yesterday. united cancelled my flight as i was boarding it. they say due to weather, but i checked the airport website and our flight was the only on cancelled due to that. i wonder if it was really because the flight was only half booked. now they are telling me that my rebooked...

this is the weird time of the year when work is scarce. South Texas just isn't COLD enough for a lot of heating calls and it's nice out so cooling isn't really an issue for most people either. I enjoy the extra time off of work to sit home in my pajamas...
