So the news about the new SG tv show is exciting, I can't wait for it.
I'm also excited that they are going to chronicle several hopefuls on their way to going pink. I've always wondered for years why they didn't do that.
Generally I would be gearing up my pathetisad little camera to audition and send it in, however, I am on hopeful hiatus at the moment.
I'm looking into getting a job with the SBI either this Summer or next Summer and my parents have friends there. We've asked them to ask if it would hurt an applicant's chances of getting the job if they modeled nude, and considering the place I'm applying to, they would find out about it.
We're hoping it's one of those "well if you were to do it AFTER we hired you and you didn't go advertising it to people, we couldn't STOP you if you were doing a good job here" type of thing.
We don't think they'd care. The only hitch is if I am required to go to court in my position to defend my dna analysis. If I just work on the dna but it's someone else's responsibility to handle the court interrogation, then it's A-Ok. If I have to go to court, well let's just say it'll be there quickest way to try to discredit me and it'll get really old really fast.
Hopefully I get a positive answer soon so I can apply for the job and then spend my summer planning shoots.
In uber awesome news, the semester is over, exams and all! I did well, kept my lovely GPA, and will hopefully make it into the honors society I have my eye on. Waiting for an invitation ANY day now. It would look great to have that honors society on my record for next year when I graduate (again).
Plushie business, now that the semester has stopped plaguing me with endless papers and dumb assignments, I have more time for my entrepreneurial endeavor. I have new patterns to use, and seeing as sewing is my only source of income this Summer, my journal is going to be chock full of shameless self promotion.
Be ready for it.
