I spent FIVE HOURS at the hairdressers yesterday, and completely changed my hair. My profile pic is my real hair colour (sort of... it's not that blond) and that pic was taken maybe 6 or 7 months ago. Then I had it died black and platinum blond underneath... that was 4 months ago... and now it's completely jet black, and, uh, curly.
My dad saw it today. His reaction was not so subtle:
"Oh. My. God. It's Elvira!"

Also, I got fitted for my costume at the Fort on Monday. No one told me prior to my accepting the job that they were made of WOOL. Recall that I will be marching around carrying a ten pound rifle, in the dead heat of summer (there are no trees around). Methinks, perhaps, my "fun" job has been down-graded to a "sort-of fun" job.
