Exams went well, and I have been draining out all that stress and subsequent body-aching from my last 2 weeks of hell.
I recently lost my childhood hero: my dad's a fucking biggot and I nearly smacked him across his politic preaching head. He completely disagrees with gay marriages because, he argued passionately, it's not accepted by any religion in any part of the world.
I wasn't going to argue with him about it - try keeping up with a six foot six inch man with an overbearing personality who thinks he knows everything, and then couple that with a history major who knows too much about religious history.

It is unfortunate but you can't really do anything if the views of your parents are silly. Just be glad that it has not made you into some irrational bigot creature
