I always think that my body's basically falling apart, and that the only thing keeping the mess together is this overwhelming desire to create that one particular work that I've been dreaming of for the past ten years! Too bad about Usual Suspect- sometimes the process seems a little arbitrary. How many kitchen sets have there been? Or the bedroom sets?
Oh well.
And yeah, I am a reenactor, thouh not Civil War. Revolutionary War. It's a lot of fun, and has much more in common with what you did at the fort. Though we are not attached to a place- and I don't get paid for it!

Last year (2004) went to Quebec for a big 225th ann. event. 2000 reenactors, 90,000 spectators for a one day battle... it was amazing. We camped on the actual Plains of Abraham!!
