The void
The void is a vast empty plain of existence. Where emotions fade and drain away. You can't feel anything expect for the emptiness of the void. I can see a small light in the void but every time I try to fight my way to it. Unseen forces drag me back. I start bite, claw, scratch at these invisible opponents. I gain a little freedom but more and more attack. So I quit holding back and attack with everything I have. I launch my breath weapon. Bathing my unseen enemies a fiery death. I break free and then stop at the edge of the void. If I leave the void will I become powerless? Or will my power exceed even my know belief?
Then starting to enter back into reality something or someone grabs me and pulls farther into the void.
One day I shall raise up and escape. But for now I sit & brood. Plotting my vengeance on all that has invoked my wraith.
