i have entirely too much faith in people. it's something that's caused quite a bit of let down in my life. i'm not sure why i still do it either. perfect example is my family. they've talked for the past year about coming out to visit (i've gone home twice) and have yet to do so. if you're not coming out, don't tell me you are. but it's not just them either. i'm kind of tired of it. if you're going to tell me you're going to do something, please, do it. that's all.

wow, the site is slow today.

i was all set last n ight to watch a new simpsons treehouse of horror xvi, but no that isn't until next weekend. hey, i have to work next weekend too. and that monday. so i won't get to watch the colts play (still not a gay football name!) either. oh well. the job will be over in no time at all.

this morning:
endpoint/by the grace of god.
split lip.
built to spill.
'kite in a rainstorm'

i had two dreams last night. sorry, not that kind. the first i was in the warriors. though, we were a little more modern than the movie. the second i was a really bad forensic scientist. i think that had to do with a cnn presents last night. it was about all the guys getting out of prison because of fuckups in hair and finger print analysis.

You know, I had the thought of placing some sort of wager on the Pats-Colts game, but I don't really have confidence that I'd win the damn thing.

Having faith in people is a double-edged sword. In one sense, it's the best way to be, but it's a kick in the groin when it doesn't work out the way you expect it will. And, damn, people really do make some claims that you just know that they'll never keep. Why do people think that it's better to project false symbolism is better than undesired reality?

There...I think I added pretty much nothing that you didn't already know.
