The beach is quiet once again. The BVI Music Fest was fun but I glad that it is over.

This is my last week of personal training. I have decided to go back to working out on my own. Possibly adding a few aerobics, spinning or pilates classes per week.

I have never been a rum drinker.

That changed when I moved here. There is a rum distillery in my neighborhood. Sugar Cane rum. A nickel a shot.

I get to watch them make it.

Today is the start of the BVI Music Fest. It's a four day music festival that happens on the beach of Cane Garden Bay, Tortola. I probably won't get much sleep this weekend.

I am still wrapping my brain around recent events. I have been spending a lot of time at the gym. It's the one place I can release stress and forget about life. I am keeping busy and staying positive. I just don't want to talk about it. I can't find the words just yet.

My life was turned upside down this weekend. I am still confused and a little lost. I know that I will survive this. I am not sad just relieved. I've never had this feeling before this weekend. I am still wrapping my brain around it and sorting it all out.

I have been invited to go on a day sail on June 16. It's being sponsored by one of the big auditing/accounting firms on the island so it will be free for me. I am really excited about this. The job interview I had yesterday turned out well. It wasn't really an interview. I didn't even speak. The owner told me that he was extremely interested in hiring me. I hope it works out. He will have to file paperwork with the Labour Department requesting a work permit for me. It's a long and sometimes tricky process. It could also take months.

This week has started has started out with a bang! I have FIVE sessions with my personal trainer this week. Tomorrow I have a job interview at the Batcave. I am so excited. I have been trying to get a job at this night club since I moved here. I really really want this job! Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow.
