The all night grad party was DULL.... A friend of mine from way back stopped by and brought my coffee. Luckily they really didn't need me, so we got to actually hang out for a good couple of hours, outside of the "party".
So the gimmic of this evening was that if you left before it ended, the chaperones had to call your parents to let them know. Many were upset about this aspect, because it was around 3am when they tried to leave. Some said they were emancipated even, to try and get past my mother the door guard. Now for those you of who haven't met my mother...she is 5'4", 60 yrs old, and about my build, very thin. She also has been teaching high school near the District, for over 35yrs now. She's one tough cookie when she needs to be. So some of it was rather amusing to watch.
Today is a day for movies, hopefully double feature between Shrek 3 and Pirates 3....my brother works at the theater so we get in for free
Also this evening dinner and IMPROV show with yet another dear old friend.
Sunday is time for my daddy and then back home for craft night at my apartment. Hopefully I can finish my renfair skirt and accessories this year before renfair starts I just really need to find large scraps of leather for my boots. If any one knows where this is possible, please let me know!
