well guess who's gonna be a model at the detroit (royal oak) show October 15th?

it all came about rather suddenly, yesterday. i got a call, out of the blue, from my friend Rachel. she was breathlessly excited as she began to explain that a hairdresser friend of hers needed models and/or actresses to be in her on-stage skit at this event. i was the first person she thought of
it gets even funnier...the premise for the skit is the scene from "grease" with the beauty school dropout song. evidently (i saw that movie years ago and do not remember this scene in particular) Rachel and i will be wearing short silver dresses and lampshade-looking headdresses covered in curlers. hilarious, i know
i guess it is a pretty big deal...i just checked out the website. now i am excited!
and to top it all off, it's FRIDAY!
